Summer Yoga

The Open Land Yoga Program for the summer of 2017  includes daily Hatha yoga lessons for the month of August and two yoga retreats in the months of July and September.

We are also hosting four retreats between June and July.

It Is also possible to make reservations for private yoga lessons.
The classes will take place in our Bedouin Tent facing the sea in the incredible natural site of Kalotaritissa bay, in Donoussa Cycladic island.

The Teachers


Zoi is born in Levadia,Greece.Curious as a child,she liked to discover new paths of self-development and balanced-healthy life. She completed her studies in Social Working and continued with Family Therapy. After 8 years of passionate and dedicated working as a psychotherapist with addicted people,she decided to deepen her practice and knowledge in yoga.She completed her 200 hour Teacher Training with Vivi Letsou and she continued studying with Rusty Wells (Bhakti Flow Yoga),Sue Elkind (Prenatal Yoga),Michael Fukumura (Anusara Immersion),Todd Norrian (Yoga Therapeutics),Pau Castellsague(AcroYoga),Yogacharya V.Venkatesha(Atmavikasa Centre Of Yogic Sciences) and Sky Tobbias. Lately practicing acro yoga she discovered the art of traditional thai yoga massage in her path and she decided to attend the basic thai massage with Krishnataki (sunshine network certification). This journey started as a different way of exercising and keeps going as a life-changing and fulfilling experience of love,acceptance and compassion. She decided to share and inspire all these with friends and students, encouraging them to a balanced and joyful way of living. She owns her studio in Athens, Namaste Yoga studio, where you can enjoy a deep and uplifting flow practice based in alignment principles of Anusara Yoga.


Giovanni is the founder of The Open Land project.He is born in Milan in the 1971 and he studied contemporary history in the University of Bologna in the beginning of the 90’s. He worked for many years as cinematographer,in the beginning in cooperation with the Magnum photographer Alex Maioli. His passion for understanding the deep meaning of life bring him to work as documentarist for discovery channel and put him to collaborate with important artists as the cuban director Fernando Perez. After discovering oriental philosophy he decided to dedicate a big part of his life to yoga practice for awakening awareness and open his hearth to love compassion and intention. Experiencing inner martial arts and yoga brought him to decided to become a teacher in other to share his capacity to recognize the importance of deepening with body and mind during the wonderful path of life. He participate to the Sama Yoga Teacher Training and deepening course in Bali island and in Atmavikasa center of Yogic sciences in Mysore India with Yogacharya V.Venkatesha he have been oriented to traditional and deep Hata Yoga as base of his practice and teaching.
